How can we help?
Email jsintes34@gmail.com. Include your Beta ID from About → Support, iPhone model, iOS version, app build, session mode, and what happened.
Email supportStarting a session
- Tap Start Session and choose Solo — No Video, Throw With a Partner, or optional Solo Video.
- Allow Precise Location when iOS asks.
- Stand at the throwing spot and tap Mark Throwing Point Zero.
- Stay still while GPS builds the Point Zero estimate.
- During the countdown, put the phone securely in a front pocket and hold still during the brief motion calibration.
- Wait for Listening for throws, then throw normally.
Incorrect or missing throws
- Tap Exclude last misfire immediately after a false detection.
- Tap Log throw manually when a real throw is missed.
- Use Catch Mode for rapid short-range catch when distance is not useful.
- Keep the iPhone secure; loose pockets, running, and handling the phone can resemble a throw.
Distance expectations
LongToss estimates the athlete's distance from Point Zero; it does not follow the ball. Use it outdoors with open sky. The app shows reported accuracy. Buildings, dugouts, trees, indoor use, or poor satellite visibility can reduce reliability.
Apple Watch
The companion app shows live session stats after Point Zero is ready, can manually log a throw, and can request session completion on the paired iPhone. The iPhone remains responsible for GPS distance and session storage. Keep both apps updated to the same TestFlight/App Store build.
Subscription help
Tap Restore purchases on the paywall if you already subscribed with the same Apple ID. Manage or cancel at Apple Subscriptions. If pricing does not load, check the connection, retry, and include a screenshot when contacting support.
Export and deletion
Export CSV or JSON from Profile. Delete local data from Profile → About → Delete all app data. This does not cancel an Apple subscription. For privacy questions, email support.
