Information processed on your device

• Athlete profile: name, optional email, level, goal, profile photo, roster, and preferences you enter.
• Training records: session times, estimated distances, throw counts, phase, arm-feel rating, notes, and related progress statistics.
• Precise location: while a session is active, to mark Point Zero and estimate the athlete's distance from it. Point Zero and throw coordinates may be included in the local session record.
• Motion sensors: live accelerometer and gyroscope readings used on device to identify likely throws. Raw motion streams are not retained as session history or uploaded.
• Optional media and services: camera, microphone, Photos, Apple Health, Siri, and Apple Watch only for features you choose and authorize.
• Purchases: Apple processes subscription payment and entitlement information. LongToss does not receive full payment-card details.

Anonymous beta reliability information

When beta reliability sharing is enabled, LongToss sends a random app-installation identifier and limited technical events to Cutter Nation's Netlify-hosted service. This helps confirm whether setup, GPS, throw detection, Manual Log, misfire removal, video mode, Apple Watch commands, session saving, and StoreKit testing worked.

Uploaded events may include app version and build, iOS version, hardware model, session mode, coarse GPS accuracy and age bands, motion sample-rate band, fixed acceptance or rejection reason codes, aggregate session throw counts, automatic versus manual counts, session duration, and a broad maximum-distance band.

The reliability service does not receive name, email, profile photo, notes, precise coordinates, a location trail, individual throw distances, photos, video, audio, Apple Health data, advertising identifiers, or raw motion streams. The random Beta ID is not linked to the athlete's in-app profile. Support can match a tester only when the tester voluntarily shares the 8-character Beta ID shown in Support.

Storage, sharing, and service providers

Athlete profiles and full throwing history are stored on the device. LongToss does not sell personal information and does not use third-party advertising tracking.

Netlify hosts the website and anonymous beta reliability service. Apple provides TestFlight, App Store, purchase, Health, Photos, Watch, diagnostic, and crash services under Apple's policies. Standard website hosting logs may include IP address, browser, requested page, and timestamp. Reliability event records do not store raw IP addresses.

Reports, exports, support messages, Health workouts, and saved videos leave LongToss only when you choose those actions. The receiving service or person then handles that copy under its own terms.

Your controls

• Turn anonymous reliability sharing off, clear its pending on-device queue, or retry sending from About → Support.
• Review or revoke permissions in iPhone Settings.
• Export throwing data as CSV or JSON from Profile. Precise coordinates are excluded by default and can be included only when you choose.
• Delete local app data from Profile → About → Delete all app data. This clears the local diagnostics and pending telemetry queue but does not cancel an Apple subscription.
• Manage or cancel the Apple subscription in Apple ID subscription settings.
• Email jsintes34@gmail.com with the Beta ID if you want associated anonymous reliability records removed before automatic expiration.

Children

LongToss is not directed to children under 13. Athletes under 18 should use it with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. Coaches and guardians should avoid entering unnecessary identifying information.

Retention and security

Local records remain until deleted by the user or removal of the app and its data. Raw anonymous reliability records are retained for up to 180 days. Support communications and standard website logs are retained only as reasonably needed for operation, security, support, and legal obligations. Network traffic uses HTTPS and local queues use iOS Data Protection. No system can guarantee absolute security.
